The holidays are coming and we are all looking for special things to give to our family and friends. It would be great if more people will buy local and from small businesses rather than the big department and chain stores. It is hard for everyone to sparse out what little money we do have to cover our expenses as well as come up with more for presents and parties over the next couple of weeks. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season and will purchase a few of our very low-priced eBooks that might even help you through the holidays. We have cookbooks, activity books and event holiday-themed fiction books.
We hope to add more in the next several weeks. We have updated our website and changed our eCommerce software to help sell more eBooks and more. We are now using WooCommerce connected to our Paypal Account. The process of buying eBooks is very similar to Amazon. You add the books to your shopping cart, purchase them and you will be given a chance to download the books to your computer. They are all in Acrobat Reader PDF format and zipped to save space on our servers. If you buy an eBook using the an iPhone or iPad the software on the device will download the file directly to your “FILES” folder and mine automatically unzipped it for me. If your device doesn’t do that you can get an app online to unzip the files.
If you or someone you knows would like to sell their stories in eBook format and don’t want to have to deal with the mammoth organization called Amazon or even Smashwords (which I really do recommend as they submit your eBook to many different places and gives you 70% royalties). However, their library consists of hundreds of thousands of books on their servers and not one of them do the promote after the initial upload unless your pay to be part of their special events. The do have nice widgets to put your book on your website. However, if you have a WordPress website and have a “WooCommerce” capable them and do not want to deal with eCommerce software on your site then we will be happy to upload your book on our store. Then all you will need is to copy and paste your link from our site to your posts and pages. The ads you see on this post is an example of how your books will show up on your site. We will only charge 10% of sales for a fee and send your payments out once a month.
